The new iPad air looks great - thinner and lighter than the previous generation iPad. Now has a 64 bit chip powering it, so all the apps that were great on the previous generation iPad should be smokin' on this one - along with faster wi-fi. It should do well! My iPad 2 is doing well on iOS 7 - but this would be a nice addition...
I also sold my iPad 2 on eBay last year - I really miss all the things you could do with the iPad! I'll get another one, hopefully soon!
