Too much headlines the last few months of near-misses between airliners and drones in this country - mostly private drones that are almost colliding with aircraft. How to solve this issue - many 'hobbyists' use their drones for nature pictures and easier to photograph areas, but the ones that just like 'bugging around' - just checking out what is going on in their neighborhood or worse - we have to clamp down on them somehow..
Unfortunately, there will probably have to be some much publicized incidents between drones and commuter airliners before our congress wakes up and takes notice, and only then to 'profit' off it....
